International Coastal Cleanup in our Backyard

Bud and I wanted to participate in the International Coastal Cleanup sponsored by the organization I work for, Ocean Conservancy. Having just moved we were unable to find or organize a local clean-up but we set out on our own clean up at the beach a mile from our house. We were blessed to not find too much trash. We did come across some blue crabs and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon playing catch and release with them! We thought it was fun, not sure they did...

Fritz wins biggest dog!

We went to an event where they had a contest...and Fritz won biggest dog. We are not certain the prize just yet. One of our other dogs, Charlie, who dressed up for the best costume, didn't win a thing and is upset that all Fritz had to do was show up. Colby just enjoyed the icing...
